Random Photo Posting II

Skipping the awkward pre-teen years.....

When I came across this picture it occurred to me that, with a gun to my head, I would have totally and confidently denied ever wearing a "fanny pack." Also, I think that bird shit on my hand. Or maybe it was Lyn's.

When I look at pictures from college I am always struck by two things. 1) We hung out with very good-looking young men. and 2) None of them bothered to tell me I should be plucking my eyebrows.

Kim, this was on the list of "Things to Do Before We Graduate," too.....

Sheila, why don't I have a more recent picture of the two of us than this one, taken in 1999? And, perhaps just as importantly, why is this dress still in my closet??

And this one, from my wedding, I found tonight tucked in with some college photos. I miss Grandma.

Why am I the only one so enthusiastically holding my beer and looking really wasted in that photo?

I do remember that we had to get ourphoto taken at the Lion before we graduated, but I have NO recollection of Mt. Nittany AT ALL! Maybe I lost those brain cells in the previous photo...

Because you were the only one who was drunk. The rest of us were just taking a quick break from studying.

Right.... You look like you were studying really hard in the photo above that one.

Didn't you two see Dr. Phil yesterday? It was all about teen girls posting pictures of themselves drunk online and how it will ruin their chances of ever being married, politicians or gainfully employed. There go your lives!

You watch Dr. Phil?

If it's any consolation, Rob, it wasn't until college that I finally learned what a tweezer was either. We shared a lot as best friends, not the least of which was untamed brows :)

Those were some rockin' shoes you had in the picture on top of the Nittany Lion. Sadly, I had a pair too.

You must have graduated college around the same time I did - I caught the Pearl Jam poster in the background. Love it!

I think those were my 'bar shoes'! (Remember needing 'bar shoes'?) You can tell by the dried sludge of beer all across the toe.
