We've Got a Walker!

He's not exactly cruising across the floor yet, but Evan did take his first steps today. This morning we propped him between us and he toddled from Mommy to Daddy, and from Daddy to Mommy. He was so proud he beamed.

Then this evening he took his first real steps -- the kind that are totally unprompted and unassisted -- toward his brother.

They were playing in the playroom when all of a sudden Evan stood up, clutching a block he knew Kostyn wanted, and started moving in KO's direction. It happened so fast I don't think it really registered with Kostyn. I'm glad I happened to be sitting there watching them, marveling at the bond of brotherhood developing before my eyes. It grows stronger every day. So strong it moves us all.

Tonight it moved Evan.

I am so looking forward to seeing those same things once little Morgan makes her arrival in April. I can't wait to see the sisterly bond grow, and see Dylan with her baby sister.

Wow, time is just flying by! So cool that it was an act of brotherly love that motivated him.
