Happy Mommy

After several years as a professional, full-time journalist, I've decided to switch careers: I'm becoming a stay-at-home (work-at-home) mom. I spoke to my boss a couple days ago about my decision to not return to The Packet. It was a hard thing to do because I love my job and I love the people I work with. Luckily, I know I'll love my new job even more. And I adore the person I work with now.

I still have to bring in some cash, though. That book deal will help, and I'll be doing some freelance writing as well. During naptimes, I suppose. Should be interesting...

Congrats, Robyn! But watch out... that new boss of yours is known for handing down some harsh annual reviews!

You'll have to shoot me an e-mail sometime - all I have is your Packet address.

What an adorable picture.

You will do great at home. I am sure you will find work and things will go well.

It's definitely worth it.
